Robocopy is a Water, Silver Big Band variant.

Robocopy is also available as a Prize Fight reward for getting either top 1-10% or rank 1-10 in the Silver Tier of the Big Ben's Beatdown Prize Fight.

Signature Ability 1
When Big Band or his opponent TAGS IN, inflict DISABLE BLOCKBUSTERS for 10/15/20 seconds. DISABLE BLOCKBUSTERS is removed when the opponent uses a SPECIAL MOVE.


Signature Ability 2
Gain ENRAGE and BARRIER for 5/7/10 seconds each every 3 seconds while the opponent's BLOCKBUSTERS are DISABLED.

Role & Strategy[]

  • Robocopy is a fighter who can lock opponent BLOCKBUSTERS for a pretty long time whenever he or the opponent tags in, as well as gain a lot of BARRIER and ENRAGE while they are locked. BLOCKBUSTERS locked in this manner can be unlocked by the opponent using a special move. These abilities make Robocopy someone who thrives in tag-out heavy setups.
  • Robocopy gains a lot of benefits from opponent BLOCKBUSTERS being locked, and his main goal is to make sure they stay locked for as long as possible. He can do this through two means; Using OUTTAKES to forcibly tag out the opposing side once their BLOCKBUSTERS are unlocked again, or by repeatedly tagging himself in and out again. The former is preferred due to the benefits of his ability far outweighing the cost of using a move slot for the OUTTAKE.
    • The AI can tag themselves out, but it's not something to rely on due to its inconsistency.
  • Special moves can dispel the BLOCKBUSTER lock early, which unfortunately includes BURSTS. Because of this it may be beneficial to bring along a fighter who can lock special moves in some way. Cerebella has a Marquee Ability that can do this for a decently long time, making her a decent candidate.
    • Alternatively, Robocopy can try keeping his opponent in the air as long as possible during combos, as BURSTS can only be used while standing on the ground.
  • The combination of BARRIER and ENRAGE, both of which Robocopy can gain easily, means that he can both deal and take a good amount of damage for a Big Band. Unfortunately, Big Bands generally low Atk stat means that Robocopy's DPS capabilities are mediocre at best compared to more offensively geared characters.
  • Marquee Ability: Since Big Band's Marquee Abilities are inherently defensive, either Marquee Ability for Robocopy will mostly have an impact only when Robocopy is used defensively, in which case it largely depends on where he is placed. FRONTMAN is often the superior Marquee Ability as it increases his defense in Prize Fight defense teams and double or triple nodes in Rift Battles. SOLOIST is generally a more niche Marquee Ability, only useful for a specific placement in single nodes.
  • Stat Investment: Robocopy will benefit from investment in ATK and Piercing to increase his damage output when used offensively. Accuracy can increase the chances of him landing his vital DISABLE BLOCKBUSTERS against fighters with Resistance built.

  • SA1 (Old): Once per match when suffering a HIT that would be fatal, gain 1/2/3 stacks of ARMOR and BARRIER. ARMOR lasts for 10 seconds.
    • SA1 (New): When Big Band or his opponent TAGS IN, inflict DISABLE BLOCKBUSTERS for 10/15/20 seconds. DISABLE BLOCKBUSTERS is removed when the opponent uses a SPECIAL MOVE.
  • SA2 (Old): When defeating an opponent, gain 2 stacks of ENRAGE for 30 seconds and 25/35/50% BLOCKBUSTER METER.
    • SA2 (New): Gain ENRAGE and BARRIER for 5/7/10 seconds each every 3 seconds while the opponent's BLOCKBUSTERS are DISABLED.

  • SA1 (Old): Defeating an opponent grants 2 stacks of ARMOR and ENRAGE for 5/7/10 seconds.
    • SA1 (New): Once per match when suffering a HIT that would be fatal, gain 1/2/3 stacks of ARMOR and BARRIER. ARMOR lasts for 10 seconds.
  • SA2 (Old): Also gain 25/35/50% BLOCKBUSTER METER.
    • SA2 (New): When defeating an opponent, gain 2 stacks of ENRAGE for 30 seconds and 25/35/50% BLOCKBUSTER METER.
1.3.0 Update
  • SA1 (Old): Defeating an opponent grants ARMOR and ENRAGE for 5/7/10 seconds.
    • SA1 (New): Defeating an opponent grants 2 stacks of ARMOR and ENRAGE for 5/7/10 seconds.
